What has been interesting has been Katherine's need to defend Joe's action. She even recently went as far as stating that Joe never abused his children, something that has raised many people's eyebrows considering the history of the Jackson family. Furthermore Katherine's actions towards the lawyers selected by her son to run his estate, has lead to some to wonder how much of a control does Joe have on his wife?
is Joe really as uncaring and self-serving as he seems to come across? Is Katherine influenced by Joe or is she a woman of her own mind? To try to understand and answer these questions I decided to look at the Human Design Charts (HDS) for both Joe and Katherine. What I am about to write regarding their Rave charts is very much a brief at the energies and it's theme in manifestation in Joe & Katherine's lives, actions, beliefs, motivations and so on.
Having obtained the basic birth details for both Joe and Katherine i.e., date of birth, place of birth two charts were generated (see figures below) *Note: The exact time of birth for both Joe and Katherine are unknown and thus I used the default 12am.
Joe Jackson's chart:
Looking at Joe's chart a few things come to light straight away. Firstly Joe, like Michael, is a projector. Secondly, unlike Michael, Joe is a splenic Projector with a number of defined centers. This tells us that Joe is a non-energy being; in other words Joe isn't really designed to do hard/manual type labour. Projectors are best suited as guides for others. They need 'energy' from the energy-type beings i.e., the generators/manifesting generators. Luckily for them, the generators/manifesting generators make up to 70% of the world population, so energy is usually available for projectors and other non-energy types.
It's interesting that as a Projector (non-energy type) Joe started his life working in a Steel mill. It's no wonder he was bitter. Bitterness is what Projectors suffer from when they are not operating according to their energy type, what is known as operating as a not-self. Of course many people do not know their energy types so I am guessing neither does Joe. As a not-self projector Joe would be busy initiating projects, looking for attention, trying to prove himself, not knowing when enough is enough etc just to name a few characteristics of the not-self based on Joe's chart. The not-self by the way is based on looking in a broad sense here, on the open centers i.e., the 'white' boxes/triangles on Joe's chart.
Looking at these characteristics is no wonder Joe is the way that he is. However there is more! In HDS, the majority of what makes up who we are comes from the positions of the Sun (the first symbol on the top of each column, the circle with a dot) both in our design (the red numbers on the left column) and personality (the black column on the right). The design side represents the aspects, traits etc that we are not aware of (the subconscious). The personality side are those aspects that we are aware of (conscious). Here I am referring to things about us that we aren't conscious of but can become conscious of them when others tell us about them repeatably. In personality side are things that we know to be true about ourselves.
For example, Michael had his design sun in the 16th gate, the gate of talent. Hence in his interviews he used to say that for years he didn't know that he had this unique talent, he figured that everyone had it, it was only after people kept going up to him and telling him that he had this unique talent that he became aware of it.
So back to Joe, I am going to focus on his personality side i.e., the side that he is conscious of and we are too by just observing him. His personality Sun is in gate 52 line 1, it is also in detriment (the black arrow pointing downwards). This gate ironically is about focus, concentration and stillness when it is in a 'positive' position (note Joe's is on detriment). The 52 gate on the 1st line is about 'thinking before you speak' and in detriment as is the case with Joe, this line manifests itself as "Speaking first and living with the consequences afterwards"!!! Sounds very Joe like huh? Lol.
The next important gate in Joe's chart is the position of his Earth (the second symbol on the black column of the chart). His earth is in gate 58 line 1, the 58th gate is the gate of 'love of life'. I must admit that before doing Joe's chart I had thought he was a generator/manifesting generator. This is because Joe at 80, looks very healthy and active a sign that usually is very rare in Projectors especially because as not-selves, Projectors tend to 'push' things. They tend to keep competing with others (who mostly are generators) without knowing that they don't have the same energy, and thus most Projectors tend to not know when enough is enough until they die or injure themselves badly etc.
Having seen Joe's chart I can see why, even though he is a non-energy type he is healthy and happy. His 58th gate is a get of the Spleen, which deals with well being and healthy matters of the body. In it's first line it's motor of 'love of life' sums up Joe love of life. Joe at 80 is still involved with the 'night life', his hat and 'bling' etc in a sense he isn't the ordinary grandpa.
Joe also had another thing in common with his late son, Michael, that is they both are 1/3. 1/3 is the type, which broadly speaking tend to be individuals who are very 'self investigating' or 'self absorbed', now I don't mean this in a negative sense, it's just what this type operate. The 1/3s are focused inwardly but also have to learn in life through a trial-and-error pattern. Interestingly both Joe, Michael and Prince Michael 1 are 1/3s.
Another thing that drew my attention on Joe's chart is looking at his south/north nodes positions. In general the south/north nodes in a chart gives an indication of the paths in someones life i.e., the general theme in ones life up to age of 30-35 and after 35/40 till death. Joe has the channel 43/23 both consciously (black) and unconsciously (red). The channel 43/23 is known as the 'channel of freak/genius'. The reason being that those with this channel tend to speak about things that sometimes others can't grasp in which case they are deemed 'freaks' or other times others can grasp n which case they are deemed 'geniuses'.
It's no wonder that Joe will continue to either freak people out or have then proclaim him a genius lol. The 43/23 also features in Joe's south/north nodes on both sides (red and black). In the path that Joe is in now (in his 80 to death) his path in black is in gate 23 line 2. The 23th gate is the gate of 'structuring' or unique insights, eliminating intolerance in general. However it's manifestation on the 2nd line is one of 'self-defense'. It reads "the need to abandon tolerance when survival is threatened".
This to mean is very telling in the wake of the Jackson's apparent need to challenge the financial side of Michael's will. It will be interesting to see how this plays out because if Joe feels his survival (money) is threatened by following Michael's will and if the public's disgust with Joe continues we will be likely to see Joe becoming more defensive in order to protect himself towards what he will see as hostility.
I remember Joe's comment once when he was asked whether he was bothered by public's criticism of his behavior prior to the memorial, and he said that he didn't care. The reason why this is can be seen by looking at the 'defined centers' (the boxes/triangles colored in on the chart), especially his 'Agna center' (the Green upside down triangle on the top of the head). Defined centres, unlike the 'open'/white' centers, are areas in which there is a constant and reliable 'energy'. These areas indicate places where the individual cannot be 'influenced' by energies of others or outside of him.
Joe has an 'open'/white' head center (the triangle on the very top of the chart) but he has a defined Agna center. This means that although ideas, inspirations etc will come to Joe from others around him and so on, the way in which he 'thinks' or 'process the information' is unique to him and is unchanged/uninfluenced. In other words if Joe thinks that what he is doing is okay or if he doesn't see anything wrong with whatever he is doing be it proclaim that Omar is Jackson's son or whatever, no one and nothing will change that. This includes his belief that he never 'abused' his kids, it won't change because his method of processing information cannot be altered or influenced so basically there is no point telling him otherwise.
Like any chart Joe's chart tells so much more than what I have tried to cover in this short entry. However if I was to give Joe some advice, I would simply tell him that as a Projector he must first and for most stop 'initiating' period! Projectors must wait to be invited for everything be it business deal, TV interview or whatever. Once they are invited he must listen to his Splenic center i.e., his gut instinct. This will guide him to make decisions which are correct for him. In other words he will be entering into things/situation whereby there will be the right energy for him (as a non energy type), where whatever he says will be heard correctly i.e., he will be seen more of a 'genius' rather than a 'freak' and the outcome of operating according to his energy orientation is that he will be successful rather than bitter.
As things stand at the moment I am afraid Joe is acting like many not-self Projector. In short he will continue to come across as an uninvited/attention seeking freak!
